The last reviewers comments were very accurate from how things were in June.

Just got back today from the annual owners meeting in Atlantic City and saw photos of the brand new tennis court and other 3rd quarter improvements. It looks great.

Also Fairfield has rrecently returned the previous resort manager (Chris Forbes) to the island and he has already replaced 50% of the front desk staff and instituted a new training program. Chris is very well liked by the owners as a man of action.

Stayed here June 3rd thru the 10th 2006. The only reason i gave it three stars is becuase of the beach! Beach is awesome and private. Good snorkling. Units were in good shape. Now the cons 1)Tennis courts were unplayable 2)Laundry Cost $5 per load and only had 2 sets for the whole place. Front Staff Very rude and dis-organized. They just started to refurnish the pool before we left so it does look like fairfield is making an effort.

We only stayed one night, so we had little time to enjoy the resort. It is in a nice location, and a bit off the beaten path. There was a nice beach and the room was good sized. We will stay there again if it is available.

The Beach Club is managed by Fairfield resorts, one of the largest in the world and a holding of RCI. They have made many nice improvements over the last year and have turned the Beach Club into a nice secluded place to lay on the beach or by the pool and get away from the hectic pace of the world.

If you start missing that pace, its only a short drive into town - Charolette Amalie. You can dine on great sea food, buy some of the finest jewerly at very reasonable prices, or just people watch - people from every point in the world.

We love St. Thomas and if it wasn't such a long flight from Oregon, we'd go more than just every other year.

The Beach Club is not a fancy resort, just a nice resort, where you can sit back and relax, smell the sea air and what the palm trees sway in the breeze.

You might want to plan a trip into town, or visit one of the other Bluebeards properties, if you don't like beach parties. The Beach Club hosts a beach party for the three properties on Tuesdays. You can take part in the hosted parties at the Castle on Mondays or the Elysian on Wednesday (?). There is much to do on the island. We like the all day sail boat trips, evening dinner on the sail boat and parasailing.
