Very French, and Americans have to adjust to
its smaller scale. Safe, clean, and 5-star
location on left bank, Townhouse building with
only 11 apts in the building. Off St Germain by
20 yards, so quieter and convenient to
everything. Shops and restaurants are right
there. Double security doors frame entry
vestibule with combo on one and key for
other. Excellent feeling of safety here and in
area, esp imp. at night. Perfect place for
women to stay in Paris.
Two underground stops within a block, one
goes to airport. Easy to get around, takes no
time to learn. Get pass for week.
Top front unit #11 is duplex with upstairs
bedroom and bath (2 single beds, sloping roof,
skylights) while futton sleeps 2 in LR with
another bath off kitchenette. Bathrooms have
small showers and excellent fixtures that are
above French normal standards. Two huge
opening french door/windows in LR have
views of Notre Dame.
TV French only. Elevator is small, typically
French. Front desk staffed with English-
speaking person with mixed hours, but no
need for more. Like having your own small apt
in Paris, much better than a hotel room.
3 star rating only because it isnt like a large
modern timeshare with a balcony on the water
and hundreds of units in the building. This is
Paris at its best, but Americans are used to
fancy lobbies, help with luggage, etc. This is
ideal location, and all you need are sneakers
to explore. Casual Paris.
Very rare to have apt in Paris on left bank. You
will feel fortunate to be there. France Location
bought up many weeks and blew out RCI. Lots
of French families come to city and never trade
or sell b/c Gov't controls MF at at $300 per
year.
