the most convenient skiing in california - gondola literally is ten yards (maybe less) from the lobbu of the resort. we visit often - twice in 2022!

Fabulous location. Walk to casinos, hotels for shows and many restaurants. Beautiful swimming pool. Out door barbecues for renters use. Walkable to beach at Lake Tahoe. Great for adults and children. Concierge service available. Book a fishing trip on the lake, see a show or play golf near by. Just have fun !

Marriott's Timber Lodge is a great place. Even though it's cold in December, bring your bathing suit - you'll be glad you did! You can ski during the day and sit in the jacuzzi in the evening.

Great location at South Lake Tahoe. Casinos, Movie Theatre, Restaurants, Beach and Grocery Store all within walking distance. Something for everyone and very family friendly!

Great resort at the base of the Heavenly Gondola. Perfectly located next to many restaurants, shops and casinos. Great activities for couple or families.

We travel to Lake Tahoe several times each year. The resort is lovely. You are close to Heavenly Village and all the outdoor activities around the lake. It is close to the Calif/Nevada state line and there are several casinos in the area. It is a great location for families.

Perfect location to take in the beautiful lake and walk to the Celebrity Golf Tournament. Heavenly Ski lift is just outside the lobby doors! Beautiful property!

This is a 5 star resort from the moment you arrive. The location couldn't be better and the 2 room villa was spacious, very clean with all the amenities. The pool area and bbq's was an added highlight. I have been back several times and I always look forward to my vacations there.

Great location close to many activities in a beautiful resort; eat-out or cook-in while enjoying the outdoors from the comfort of your villa. Each 2 bedroom villa is large enough for two families of 3 to share and still have privacy. We've loved getting up early and grabbing a Starbucks coffee while strolling around the quiet plaza. Evening dining in the plaza with music has been fantastic for us adults while the children run around and enjoy some freedom. There are activities to please almost everyone your family!

5 star resort in a wonderful location. The 4 star rating for " staff / service " is Covid related. Before the pandemic , The Timber Lodge was 5 star in every way!
