We stayed in a Premium one bedroom villa (almost twice the size of a Deluxe one bedroom villa) - a huge 947 square feet and included a furnished balcony overlooking the marina! We overlooked the Royal Towers at Atlantis and the marina harbor that separated us. These units have everything and include access to everything at Atlantis (just be sure to notify the resort before arrival with the names of all room guests in order to get access passes to the Atlantis facilities for everyone). Our unit even included our own 2 person jacuzzi tub (and separate shower) in the enormous bathroom, stacked washer/dryer and CD stereo system in the living room (in addition to the VCR and in-room safe). The staff was EXCEPTIONALLY helpful with everything, including restaurant recommendations/reservations (best were two in Nassau: Cafe Matisse and Lucianos of Chicago) and outside excursions. Our best timeshare experience to date!

We have been to Atlantis five years running now and stayed in each tower of the hotel including the Imperial club and Dolphin villa. This year we stayed at Harborside which by far was the best accomodations. Nine of us were comfortable in a two bed-room lockoff which is over 1500 sq. feet. We simply felt at home.

Atlantis is the best resort in the world and we also can't wait for the expansion to be complete with Dolphin encounter and more water slides and aquariums.

People who complain about the cost should remember the old saying: "There are two ways to go thru life: First Class and No class Make sure you choose the right one."

Harborside is my favorite resort in the world. Everything about it is exceptional; the staff, food, activities and conveniences.

We purchased seven years ago and have used our timeshare there every year. When you have the best you can forget the rest.

You can also hire a limo driver to (a) show you the island and tell you about the culture or (b) take you to the local nightspots or (c) historical monuments.

    Expensive yes. Worth it; definitely.

Atlantis is the most beautiful resort in the carribean. I am an owner at Harborside. I love staying in our unit which makes us feel like home. The food is expensive in Atlantis but if you stay at Harborside and have breakfast in your unit and a couple of dinners you would see that it is not that expensive. I travel alot and their is no place like Atlantis. When you need to relax the comfort of the units at Harborside makes it all worth while being there.

My husband and I took four 20 year olds to Atlantis. Next year, we will stay at Harborside. Without a doubt, the greatest resort we have ever been to. The Harborside pool area is the best kept secret of the resort--food, drinks, workout facility...all right there!! Our family and friends cannot wait to go back.

We thought the resort food was crummy and way overpriced. Our family of five paid $400 (admittedly including wine) for Italian food that tasted like Chef Boy-Ar-dee. On top of that, instead of clearing plates and taking them directly to the kitchen, the busboys scraped food into a garbage bin next to our table. It was disgusting. When we arrived, we first learned that the resort had jacked up the fee for "tidy service" - $48 per day to have beds made and clean towels. The Harborside accommodations were spacious and new, but totally lacking in charm - all looked alike, and the buildings were identified by numbers. We were in "Building 5" - why not use some imagination, folks? (The kids referred to it as "Gulag 5.") You can have a nice time but try not to eat at the resort, make your own bed and pick up clean towels at the pool.

I too bought here after spending a long weekend getaway. Units are all new and are top quality with all ammenities included. Went there last March and never even went to the ocean. Spent 6 of 7 days at the private pool for owners that is right next to bar/resteraunt again just for the owners. One end of pool very quiet for the older folks and the other end for the kiddies. Full use of Atlantis facilities included. You will not be disappointed!!!

Harborside/Atlantis is a truely spectacular resort. I have children ages 10 and 13 which just absolutly love the slides, pools and Club Rush. The new Marina Village is wonderful. Why stay in an Atlantis bedroom when you can rent a studio apartment for the same money. Happy New Year, Kevin

Nice, but tightly built on a small piece of land near bridge. Your unit could be near a lot of road noise. Most meal prices are just way too high. Atlantis and it's marine sanctuary are worth the trip! Smoking in the casino is bad enough, but when they light up the cigars it just recks. Not for those on a budget.

Quite honestly, I don't understand how people with a family can afford to stay at Atlantis with their tiny rooms and not-so-tiny prices when Harborside is next door with family sized rooms, fully stocked kitchens, a private pool to escape from the crowd, and even full use of all Atlantis amenities. They even have a shuttle to take you to and from the market! My kids can freely run about Atlantis while Mom & I stay at the pool. The snorkelling and scuba (Stuart Cove's) is excellent and they even provide transportation to the boats. Capt. Mike of Chubasco Charters knows how to find fish even when nobody else is catching anything. And the dining? You can find anything from a top-end 5-star restaurant to an outdoor fishfry.

As a parent, I can tell you that my kids can't wait to return every year. I live less than 2 hours from Disney and they'd rather go to Atlantis any day!

My husband and I have been visiting the Atlantis Resort and Casino on Paradise Island for the past 6 years and love it every time we go. The Harborside is so nice because you have exclusive access to the pools and workout room at the Harborside facility, as well as access to all that Atlantis has to offer. This is a nice place to bring the whole family for a vacation in Paradise with all the luxuries of home.

Atlantis is a wonderful resort! We have traveled throughout the Caribbean and this is, by far, the best. The sea life is spectacular to view, the hotel is an architectural wonder, not to mention the backdrop of crystal clear seas and white sandy beaches. We came here with our family that ranged in age from 3-76 and everyone had a great time. The 4th of July week had a spectacular celebration on the beach with top notch entertainers, games, amusements for the kids, and a fireworks display that was awesome. We enjoy staying at the Atlantis Harborside Resort where we have all the comforts of home.

JAN 2004, just got home from a week in paradise but after paying high prices for a regular, nothing special hotel room in the beach tower, we bought a week at harborside. The hotel lobby, casino and restaurants are all beautiful, the pools are absolutely amazing, the slides heart pounding, the discovery kids club great (although very expensive). Next time we will stay in our timeshare villa, have our own kitchen which will keep eating expenses down but still have access to all the activities and amenities at atlantis. We never even went to the beach area as the pools, slides, aquariums, etc. kept us and the kids very busy.

I know many people would give this resort five stars, and under different circumstances, I would too. Here is what I found. If you are going to Atlantis during off season, it might be more economical to stay in a hotel room than to stay at Harborside. The reason my family uses timeshares is so that we can have the comforts of home while we are away from home. We cook, do our own laundry, surf the web, and watch TV along with experiencing a new place.

I found that I was scared to drive on the island because they drive on the opposite side of the road, this made buying groceries hard. There was a little grocer near the resort, but it looked like they had not recieved inventory for months. We did pick up some cereal and milk for $12, and although I found the prices high, it really beat eating out for breakfast every morning at $12 per person.

Getting off Paradise Island is costly. To get to Feeport by boat is $6. Do that for a family of 4 for 2 days and we're talking about $48, and you haven't even bought anything yet. You can take a bus for a buck that drops you off at the end of the bridge to PI, but I don't recommend doing that with any elder family members. It's a long, hot walk.

The resort itself was the most beautiful resort I have ever been to. The aquarium at Atlantis us unbelievable and unbeatable. The water slides make the place a combination of a luxury resort and an amusement park. Everyone should go there at least once in their life if they can.

Property well maintained and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Regular shuttle service to Atlantis. Our kids loved the pool at Harborside. Being able to cook in unit, saved lot of money- although groceries are 3 times US prices -restaurants can add up fast. There is tons to do at Atlantis, but EVERYTHING is for an ADDITIONAL fee. This vacation was a little rich for us, but if you have money to burn this is most definately the place to be! We loved being removed from the actual Atlantis property. Would highly recommend Harborside.
