Marriott's St. Kitts Beach Club Reviews & Ratings

This is a first class Marriott Hotel..........it is not typical caribbean architecture but it certainly holds its own for facilities. Saint Kitts is an emerging venue for relaxing vacations and consequently is not glitzy as Aruba is, this is a very quiet (relatively) island and can be slow. There are limited off site restaurants (Marshalls is the best in my opinion if you want to don a posh frock) available with most being low key with excellent quality food especially the fish.

For a fun evening visit Shiggedy Shack on Timothy beach on Thursdays but get there before 6.00pm, the Mahi Mahi and Lobster is first class........T Shirts and flip flops being the dress of the day. The people are polite and helpful and I have never had a problem with the Staff who have remained friendly during the many times I have been lucky enough to visit St Kitts.

This is an ideal chill out venue which will allow you time to ponder on when you will get another opportunity to return.................

Beautiful resort. Beautiful Island. Rooms are the largest in Marriott Vacation Club. Restaurants and food onsite are very good. Spa is wonderful. Large center pool by pool bar tends to be more crowded,side pool by timeshares more peaceful. Staff are sometimes slow to respond, but always helpful, and in contrast with a previous reviewer, we like to take our time when on vacation, so we appreciate not being rushed.

We went over Presidents week and and had a fantistic time. The golf course is very nice (much cheaper in the afternioon and never crowded). The staff was great in every respect. My 8 and 10 year old made quick friends and we felt safe letting them run around the pool, basketball and activiities area without us following them around while we sat at the pool. Unlike the Aruba Marriott properties (where we went last year) you can get a chair at the pool or beach without much trouble. I went to the local IGA and stocked up on food for the week. Prices were 50 to 75% higher then at home but with the same choices so I knew my family was going to eat somewhat healthy and what they were used to and not chicken nuggets for a week and that I would not have to spend a ton in the resturants which I did not want to sit in anyway with kids. No one got sick. The people who did eat at the resort gave the food avarage reviews. We had a few lunches and the food was fine.The beach was nice and there was some easy snorkling 1/4 mile walk down the beach- nothing special but fun. Bring lots of sun screen with you as it is $20 there for a spray can. The casino was also nice (I won playing $10 blackjack three nights in a row and came in third on in a Texas holdum tourniment) so I may be a little bias on that. The cab drivers were as wonderful as was the people on the whole island. Not a lot to see but some decent attractions. I recommend the place and we will be going back before we go back to Aruba (which was also nice but not this nice).

Spectacular snorkling right off the beach. Glorious sunsets, too! The ammenities are top notch. The staff friendly and helpful at all times. It's truely an awesome resort.

Fantastic vacation for the whole family! Beautiful condos-- largest I have ever seen, beautiful beach-never crowded with lots of palapas, great golfing and tennis along with a wide variety of activities, restaurants, etc. There was so much to do at the resort that it was hard to leave to sightsee. Service seemed a little slow still but you are in the Caribbean and usually sitting on the beach listening to the waves so wasn't a big deal. Great Resort!

This is a beautiful resort and the staff is very helpful and friendly. St. Kitts is a great place to visit! I will definitely return!

This is a Great Resort. Just returned last night from Spring break, March 31-April7,2007. You won't be disappointed. The timeshare units are the top of the line. Absolutely beautiful!!! We loved this resort and will be going back in the future. If you have the opportunity to go to this property, take the trip. It was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the property was kept very clean. Have fun!!!!
