Whether you select the original Marriott Maui Ocean Club or the newer Lahaina or Napili Villa towers, you can't go wrong! We visit every year and have enjoyed each tower. Details are below.
Tip: For a full, panoramic view of the ocean, sunset, wide beach, whales, sea turtles and other Hawaiian Islands, select an ocean FRONT condo. It's wonderful to sleep to the soothing sound of waves below you. Exceptional whale-watching from your room in January, February and March!
The original Molokai, Lanai and Maui buildings (Marriott Maui Ocean Club) have new hardwood and carpet flooring, furniture, appliances and accessories. These towers have very spacious rooms with king beds in each bedroom. A bonus is a FULL BATH in each room, so a 2-bedroom suite with a living/dining/kitchenette central room has 3 full bathrooms (and 3 TV's). A 1-bedroom unit has the large master bedroom suite, 2 full baths, living room with queen sleeper sofa, plus a dining area with kitchenette stocked for cooking and eating. Appliances include a 2-door fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker. A studio/lockoff is the 2nd bedroom, and has a full bath, queen sleeper sofa and its own kitchenette area (microwave, 2-door small fridge, toaster, coffee maker, blender, dishware, utensils, etc.). Lanais (balconies) are off each room. The tropical 3.5 acre super pool with slides, waterfalls, etc. sits in the middle of these 3 buildings.
A free, large laundry area with commercial washers, dryers and steamer is near the super pool. Overlooking the pool and ocean is a modern, shared kitchen with glass convection stove tops, commercial sinks, toaster ovens, microwaves, prep surfaces, cleaning supplies. Stainless grills and thatch-roofed tables are located throughout the resort.
The newer Lahaina & Napili Villa towers have full, modern kitchens featuring granite counters, full-size stainless appliances (large fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher), fully equipped to cook and eat. Each 1, 2, and 3-bedroom villa also has a washer & dryer, plus a 3-section master bedroom suite (jet tub, 2 vanity areas, rain head stone/glass shower, and master king bedroom). A studio is the 2nd bedroom lockoff with king bed and queen sleeper sofa. It features its own granite kitchenette with stainless sink, microwave, 2-door small fridge, toaster, coffeemaker, blender, stocked upper and lower cabinets. Recent updating included all new furniture, flooring, light fixtures, and accessories. New "L" shape sofas have lounge seating plus a comfy queen sofa bed. Each tower has relaxing tropical pools meandering below with waterfalls, hot tubs and lush green lawns for games, sunbathing or lounging under thatched roofs or palm trees.
On-site oceanfront: STARBUCKS, full-service Longhi's restaurant, breakfast/lunch/dinner Marketplace for carry-out, pool bars, poolside food and beverage service, spa, free tennis courts, putting green, playground, workout circuit, modern fitness center, lobby shops, and more.

An ocean-side boardwalk leads to nearby Whaler's Village with wonderful restaurants, shopping, food court and new whale museum. Some of Hawaii's best snorkeling is found along the Ka'anapali Beach boardwalk.
