Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa Reviews & Ratings

An amazing experience for families as well as adults traveling without children. The resort offers a true Hawaiian experience from its gardens, architecture, and aloha spirit. Aulani is nestled on the west side of Oahu in the Ko Olina Resort offering magnificent sunsets. The lagoon on property is absolutely stunning. A wonderful place for a swim, snorkel, or just sitting on a lounge chair under the umbrella enjoying the wonderful view. The pools, lazy river, and waterslides are awesome. My wife and really enjoy the adult only infinity hot tub overlooking the lagoon as well as the Pacific Ocean. Nightly live Hawaiian music is always enjoyable.

One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in plenty all over the world. Ko Olina is a wonderful part of Ohau, and there's a lot to do on that side of island, and only a short trip north to some of the best beaches and snorkeling in the world.

Seriously, this is a one of a kind place, in the most beautiful part of the Hawaii.

Charming Disney and Hawaiian touches everywhere on property and in hotel and room. Our family has gone here yearly for 15 years and this is our home away from home. We would start our mornings walking the beach coves and end with yoga on the property. Loved the evening camp fires and listening to "uncle" tell Hawaiian tales.

Probably the best of the DVC resorts. Appropriately located next to the Four Seasons. Excellent amalgamation of (i) gorgeous location, (ii) luxury comforts, and (iii) amazing, respectful theming that only Disney Imagineering knows how to do.

This is an amazing resort. It's hard to imagine improving the destination but leave it to disney. The entire experience is amazing for every family member!

Best place to stay on Ohau.

Fantastic service! Beautiful accommodations! My kids loved seeing the Disney characters throughout the day on site. The resort location is perfect. It is in a very relaxing and close to everything. The staff is fantastic and will help set up tours to places like Pearl Harbor. If I could I would rate this higher than 5 star!!!

Disney is always "top notch", and Aulani is no exception. Although the resort is in a smaller town a little removed from most cities, the resort is one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed at. If you have children, you will not find a better Hawaii location than this. We have another time share on Maui (which is a top provider), but for kids, this is the Best. The rooms are well appointed, the pools are amazing, and the lagoon is breathtaking. You will find the staff at Aulani as good, if not better, than any cast members you've come across at any Disney property, theme park or adventure. When you combine the Hawaiian friendliness with the Disney guest service, your expectations will be well exceeded. This property is more expensive than most, but you will definitely appreciate every extra dime spent. Aloha!

Beautiful resort! Lots of things for kids to do. Make sure to purchase a refillable mug when you arrive as it saves lots of $$. Also, when you are tired of hot dogs, burgers and chicken strips, there is an ABC market across the street with great options. There is also a Costco about 10 minutes away in an area with many restaurants. Only complaint is the resort may become a bit crowded once Phase II opens in September. Given everything to do on Oahu, a week is not enough. If I had to do it again, I would spend a few nights on the North Shore and a couple in HNL as well.
