Marriott's Newport Coast Villas Reviews & Ratings

The hotel has all two-bedroom rooms with balconies or patios, complete kitchens, washers and dryers, and TVs in every room. The property comes with multiple pools, gyms, a basketball court, and more. Starbucks is located in the gift shop, and the eatery is situated at the poolside bar. The views were exceptional. You need a car to travel and enjoy the area. Pavillions Grocery store is within a couple of miles. We will stay here again.

We stayed here for a week, Sunday to Sunday. Beautiful area. 30 minutes from Disneyland, which is why were were in California. Close to beaches. Room was clean and very spacious. Living room couch is a pull out as well. Did not hear our neighbors or people walking outside so I would say it is pretty good for no noise. The area we stayed in had a pool that was less than a minute walk away. There is a total of 3 pool areas in the whole resort. There is a pickleball / tennis court.

The location is amazing, right by Crystal Cove Beach. The beds are very comfortable with super cushy pillows, and accolades from my family for the comfort of the sleeper sofa, too.

Amazing property a great value on the Newport Coast

We have been coming here for 20 years, our whole family. Have many wonderful years of memories.

Beautiful and in a great location. The rooms are so “roomy” and very clean with all the amenities you could need. The California weather is perfect and Southern California is ultimate vacatio:n dream!

This is a terrific resort in a great location between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach! Less than an hour from LAX and 30 minutes from Long Beach and even less from John Wayne airport. Lots of amenities on property- great for kids! Walk to beach (which is a downhill hike) but they do have shuttle buses. Close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants! ENJOY!

Our favorite place to stay. Beautiful, relaxing, fun in the sun. Unfortunately our schedule does not allow us to travel this year.

Beautiful resort. Close to Disneyland and Laguna Beach. One hour south of Los Angelas and two hours north of San Diego. Beautiful beaches. Suites are fully equipped and comfortable. When requesting villas prior to arrival, ask which buildings have been renovated. Even if you don't get a renovated suite, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy. Absolutely gorgeous 😍

An excellent and elegant vacation spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean and many Orange County entertainment and shopping locations such as Disneyland, Knott's Berry, Discovery Cube, Surf City Surfing, and much more.

We have stayed at our unit in Marriott's Newport Coast Villas many times. We absolutely love the place. The location, the property, the beautiful Newport Coast, is great for both families and couples. The staff is friendly and will help you get the unit you desire, whether it be a location near one of the pools, or a high floor where you have a view of the ocean.

I reserved the unit 12 months in advance, so you should be able to choose the unit and building location of your choice.

Beautiful Conveniently located Villas. Close to Disney (21m), Lego Land (50m) and many more California attractions. Great family get-a-away. Amazing pools to enjoy and a short walk/drive to Crystal Cove State Park.

Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas is a beautiful, well‑kept resort overlooking Crystal Cove. The villas are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with full kitchens and private balconies that make longer stays easy. The property has great pools, a solid fitness center, and plenty of activities, all in a quiet, scenic setting.

The location is hard to beat — close to Laguna Beach, Fashion Island, and some of the best coastal trails in Orange County. Staff are friendly, the grounds are immaculate, and the overall experience is consistently relaxing and high‑quality.

This beautiful coastal retreat feels like a Mediterranean village, with beautifully landscaped grounds and multiple heated pools. Ideal for families and couples alike.

We just returned from Newport Coast.

Absolutely Beautiful! When we drove around the Newport Coast Hwy., and saw the ocean in the background, and these beautiful Meditteranean-Style villas in the foreground we all could not believe this was the place!

The main building and lawn area with Titan's fountain with the Pacific Ocean in the background was a million dollar view!

We were in the 1600 building, which had it's own secluded quiet pool area. This pool was warmer than the pools off the main building-- at least the kids thought so--they are all supposed to maintain a temp. of 82.

The rooms were very nice, with granite and marble. They are very clean, and plenty of room for the 4 of us!

The sunset on the beach was breath-taking.

We visited Disneyland, Calif. Adventure, Hollywood, Long Beach, Dana Point (Dave's dolphin/whale adventure was great -- we saw a blue whale), Laguna beach, and newport beach off balboa penninsela. balboa island is very crowded. All were just a quick drive from the Newport Coast Villas.

Ask when low tide is at the front desk, and look for sea life in the ocean...the kids loved it.
