On-site restaurants as well as a very short walk to offsite restaurants- all with exquisite cuisine. Take a walk along Dawn Beach and a dip to cool off! If exploring is your thing, rent a car and explore over 35 beautiful beaches and numerous international cuisine options.

I love this resort and the entire island. Beaches fantastic. Food is fabulous. Phillipsburg a shopping heaven. Love Love St Maarten and Oyster Bay Beach Resort!

Oyster Bay is a lovely resort in Saint Martin on the Dutch side. Extremely friendly staff, well appointed villas, great location. Many water activities available at the marina on site of Oyster Bay. Daily and nightly activities at the resort as well as entertainment. Restaurants and bars on site as well. Have visited numerous times and have not been disappointed.

Best resort I’ve ever been to. Been coming here for near 20 yrs. Great staff,very helpful. Nice location with a small family atmosphere. Very clean and well kept. Can’t beat it!

An owner since 1994. Each year's stay has been memorable. The resort's cleanliness and manicured grounds increase our relaxation and use of the unit and amenities. The staff is second to none, so friendly and helpful with a smile!

We have stayed either at Oyster Bay Beach Resort or Coral Beach Club since 2004. The staff is extremely friendly and we have made many friends there.

Oysterbay is a very nice organization. I have been a member here for years but unfortunately can't get there this year. I am in a elevated bldg facing the ocean. Sit on the patio and watch the boats heading over to St. Barts. with your morning coffee. Very relaxing

My husband and I love staying here. It is peaceful, and exciting all at the same time, we enjoyed the crystal clear waters, snorkeling, and site seeing. The natives are ever so friendly they make you feel at home. The staff are truly hospitable, and accommodating to your needs, they truly love having us there, and they are catering to those with young children as well to make sure everyone young and old is enjoying their time.

Spacious well-equipped units. Gorgeous ocean views and beautiful Fawn Beach. Easy drive to Phillipsburg and also to popular Orient beach. Amazing staff that make you feel like family.

First - the location is great, next to Dawn Beach and great views of Ocean. Second - the resort is excellent. Rooms are very nice, the pool is great. Third - the staff is very good.

Love the OBBR for its locations, cleanliness, friendly staff, restaurant options, welcoming and farewell social events. The beach is awesome, we've met so many cruise passengers who flock here to enjoy the beach.

We return every second year, and love the island drives, Pinel Island, Orient Beach, other beaches, boat excursions (Captain Alan), shopping downtown, gambling and entertainment options, the beach bars near the airport, etc. The list goes on.

Restaurant options are great on the island, eat normal/great or fancy/gourmet - it's whatever you wish. Most beaches offer food service of local specialties. Can't say enough!! The resort and the island are incredible.

This is a beautiful resort. The location is perfect. The staff is wonderful. The island is beautiful. We have been to this resort many times and always look forward to returning.

In response to Mike1401 look at the date it is from 2009. The resort/units have been and are regularly updated . In fact the pictures on this website are old. Go to their website and you can see what the resort looks like now. There are new buildings in addition to the renovation of the existing units. Also I have been to many islands in the Caribbean and the energy fees are much higher almost everywhere. The staff at Oyster Bay is one of the most friendly attentive staffs I have ever dealt with. Most of the them have been there for10 -15 years or more. We have been going to Oyster Bay for years and It feels like we are coming home when come back.

We've vacationed at the Oyster Bay Beach Resort for many years! We LOVE it so much that we regularly trade away our timeshare at the Maui Marriott IN FAVOR OF VACATIONING HERE!

To us, this resort is the PERFECT vacation location – ocean views, sandy beaches, private yachts, on-site dining and Caribbean nightlife. Located on Dawn Beach (midway between Phillipsburg and Grand Case), Oyster Bay is on the "quiet side" of the island -- away from the noise and traffic of the airport and downtown, but convenient to beaches, casinos, and first class dining!

The resort has been recently renovated and is receiving RAVE reviews!!!

Been five times to St Martin and stayed here and at other resorts. I liked this resort so much that after the last visit I decided to buy on the resale market. Dawn beach is just as others have said, beautiful, seculed and equal distance between Philipsburg and Grand Case...both of which are my favorite places to go on the island. I particular do not like the Airport side of the island as it is too busy and difficult to get around in. The pool is great and the views of St. Barts outstanding.

As for the fees, it is sort of like the airlines and luggage, all resorts are looking for new ways of revenue. I would perfer that they not have the energy fee, but all things considered I look forward to many return trips to the Island in general and OBBR in particular. But I do think a little coaching on the front desk is in order!!!

The resort is a little dated but it's in a nice area, isolated from the ugly parts of the island. The beaches throughout the island are amazing. The part that bothered us at this resort is their lack of customer service at the front desk (both check-in and concierge). Another item that was really annoying was the energy surcharge at $84/wk and the timeshare tax at $50/wk. Then don't forget to add another $50/wk if you want to access the internet. Finally, they have the gull to add a tourism promotion fee of $1/day. Although it was optional, it automatically shows up on your bill. Once you add all of these charges, the exchange fees and what you're paying for your home resort (maintenance fees and possibly mortgage), this resort makes for a very expensive vacation. Your much better off paying for a tour package (air and lodging). Although we may some day return to the island, I don't think it will be at this resort.

Just exchanged into Oyster Bay for the first time. We left trying to figure out this resort based on our experiences else where. The setting of the resort is the most beautiful we have ever seen. Dawn Beach is a beautiful beach and the pool area is exceptional. We were there in high season and there were always plenty of lounge chairs on both the beach and pool area. We dined at all the local restaurants and found the food ranged from decent to good. The key for us was the lovely setting of these restaurants, mostly on the beach or over looking the water. Fine but expensive dining is plentiful else where on the island. This being a smaller resort, they do a really good job bringing visitors together in meet and greet activities usually with drinks where outside boat operators come in to pitch their activities. It's not hard sell but informative. We met a number of very friendly people who we got to know during our stay, at these parties. Between water sports, shopping, dining and beaches, there is a lot to do on this island. The temperature/weather could not have been better for our likes.

Our one bedroom unit with a lock-off, making it a two bedroom was decent. No complaints here. Daily maid service at no charge was very nice. One little problem with an air conditioning unit was fixed immediately. The mattress was firm. We were not aware that you could get a pad to place over your mattress to soften it up. Yes we had some little ants around our sink. If you can't handle this, check out the Westin.

A couple of things we were not happy with was the pervasive smell of sewer gas (we faced the marina) and the wind from the ocean could not disperse it. The management of the resort needs to do more people skills training and job training with the employees. The resort personel who you are in contact with the most and rely on tips, wattress/bartender were fine. Front desk people and concierge staff need to be trained to do their jobs better. We have never had to pay elsewhere for air conditioning ($12 per day) or wi-fi ($50 per week) and the govrnment asks you for $50 for being smart enough to own a timeshare. This added an additional $184 to our bill.

We will come back to St. Maarten again and possibly stay at the Oyster Bay Resort. We hope that the management of the resort reads these reviews as well. The resort has the potential to be great with some work. I'm not sure we would buy there or anywhere on the island because of resort and government tax policies, but I never say never.

Great unit! Spacious and well done. The configuration is close to a Marriott lock-off unit. The resort has three restaurants on site as well as a couple of bars. There are more activities than you have time for. Great location for a fun week. Restaurants near-by the resort are plentiful and the town of Phillipsburg is only six miles away.
