One thing that isn't mentioned. Each unit has a full kitchen, with a grocery store within a couple miles. If you want, you can stock up on groceries, and have a relaxing night indoors if the weather isn't that good. Also, the units have a fireplace (gas). There are also quite a few outlet stores nearby, if you want to do a little shopping. We've stayed there 4 adults + 3 kids, with not problems, and the kids love the water rides, and even the onsite pool!

I think that this is a great place, their is so

much to do and see. Many good restaurants

and Virginia Beach is only 50 miles away. I

have been at Greensprings three times and I

am looking foward to going back. If you like

to golf the National is the place to go.

If you like to shop you have to go to the

    pottery factory.

Stayed at this resort at the start of Nov 2002.

Unit was in dire need of refurbishment. Activites for exchange weeks non existent.

The only member get together did not have enough food for the people present and the oganizers did not care.

In short for a Gold Crown resort it was a flop.

    Beautiful, well kept timeshare.

Golfing and shopping is great, with Bush Gardens, Water Country USA in your back yard.

Richmond (Va state capitol) is an easy commute (30 minutes) with a wealth of Civil War history.

This resort is a gem in the timeshare world. It is well-maintained both outside and in. The decor is stylish and comfortable. The heated pool is huge and sparkling clean. If I had to choose a resort to spend an entire rainy week in, it would be Greensprings, and that's exactly what happened! We spent some time shopping in and out of the rain, and it was always nice to come back to a clean and spacious unit at the end of our soggy days. Nearby are many, many attractions. Dining is diverse. Outlets and bargains are everywhere. Of course, there are Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Buy the 3-day bounce, best value. Very nice area to vacation to, very nice timeshare resort.
