It's a great time every year we go with the family. Wish we could go every year! This place is awesome over the 4th of July! The rooms are very spacious too! Fits 4 comfortably and 12 if you are on a budget!

Great location right at Heavenly Village within walking distance to casinos, restaurants, and the new Target. The villas are well maintained and has everything we need to cook a meal or do our laundry. Large pool with several hot tubs and a splash pad. We really love their fire pits. Parking is valet only but one vehicle is included for each room.

Great family resort any time of year! Hiking, skiing, lake sports, dining, entertainment, activities, shopping, spas, casinos, art gallaries, live music, all within walking distance from this beautifully appointed time share.

Easy access to the Heavenly Gondola! Amenities on site include the "Cub House" featuring a log cabin playhouse and a rock climbing wall for 5 to 12 year olds. Teens have "The Den" with a lounge area and big screen TV, video games, and foosball.

I have been an owner and used this this location for over 20yrs but have a conflict this year. The resort is in the heart of the village within walking distance of all the shops, a block from the Casino's and just steps from the Heavenly Gondola. It doesn't get any better!

Review: Marriott Timberlodge, South Lake Tahoe

The Marriott Timberlodge is awesome for friends, families and couples. The place is super cozy with units that have kitchens, living areas, and some even have fireplaces and jetted tubs.

It's a quick walk to the Heavenly Gondola for skiing, and if you're not into skiing, there's plenty to do. The resort offers activities like gambling, concerts, hiking and exploring Emerald Bay, Reno and Carson Hot Springs.

Shopping lovers will be thrilled with the location—right in the heart of Heavenly Village with lots of shops to browse.

The amenities are great as well. There's a heated pool, fitness center, and a great restaurant/bar. The kids will love the splash pad.

Whether you're skiing, gambling, shopping, or just enjoying Lake Tahoe, the Marriott Timberlodge is a cozy, welcoming spot. Highly recommend for a family getaway, a friends fest or a romantic trip!

We stayed at this property with our triplets when they were 10. My kids had so much fun in the snow we got that week! We made hot chocolate, went snowboarding and had a great time. The Fire and Ice resturant was a hit along with the game room and the festive atmosphere. Summer trips to this destination are also so much fun with a lot to do!

Ski-in, ski-out luxury - we love the convenient location right next to the Heavenly Gondola! The convenient location means we can park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave. What could be better than a heated pool and multiple whirlpools after a great day on the slopes? This is THE place to stay in South Lake Tahoe.

The Timber Lodge property is right at the base of Heavenly mountain and the property is 10 yards from the gondola taking you to the ski resort. The location is excellent for skiing and excellent for restaurants and shopping as it is located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. The rooms also carry the quality and comfort known by the Marriott brand.

Our family has vacationed at Timber Lodge for over 20 years. Never disappointed. Location, Amenities and service are 5 star, units are spacious and always updated, Gondola steps from Front door, great skier services, pools , hot tubs and fitness center, restaurants , and activities all within walking distance . Family kids clubs and babysitting available.

Location is the best in South Lake Tahoe for access to all there is to offer in the area. Skiing, Shopping, Dining, Casino Access, this place has it all!

Such a wonderful place to visit- especially that it's by the Heavenly gondola, the ice skating, the movie theaters, Base Camp Pizza and shopping, all within walking distance!
