Beautiful Lodge at the base of the ski trails and gondola in the amazing town of South Lake Tahoe. Lake is a short walk and has the clearest blue water anywhere! Lodge has restaurants on site and many more steps away. On site gym and heated pools!

Is there anything better than New Years in South Lake Tahoe?!! There are only 10 units like ours that are 3 bedrooms and sleep 10. Great for a family. And of course, we are in the Heavenly Village - right at the ski lifts with all the action. Plus, we are at the NV border so the casinos and their night life are a bonus.

Of course, the quality is Marriott. Great service, friendly, the whole package. (We are in Hawaii this year - so enjoy.)

The resort is a little older but you can not beat the location, close to all the action in south lake tahoe plus steps away from the gondola to Heavenly Mountian.

Wonderful resort at Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe. Guest rooms are spacious with a full kitchen, fireplace and in room washer/dryer. Within steps to the Heavenly Gondola. Lots of full service restaurants...especially the Driftwood Cafe.

We have always booked and stay at this resort during Christmas and crosses into New Year! We decided to go during the summer and wow what an amazing experience! We had an exceptional experience at the Marriott Timberlodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The lodge itself is beautifully maintained, with a cozy, luxurious atmosphere that perfectly blends comfort and style. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities we could need for a relaxing stay.

The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, just steps away from Heavenly Village and the gondola. Whether you’re here for skiing, hiking, or simply enjoying the stunning scenery, this lodge is the ideal base. After a long day outdoors, the heated pool and hot tubs were the perfect places to unwind.

The customer service throughout our stay was top-notch. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering helpful local tips and making sure our experience was nothing short of perfect.

We can’t wait to return to Marriott Timberlodge on our next trip to Tahoe. If you’re looking for a blend of luxury, comfort, and adventure, this is the place to stay. Five stars all the way!

Great place to stay for New Year's Eve. Heavenly Ski Resort puts on a Family Friendly New Year's Eve event. The resort is beautiful and has all the amenities you can ask for.

Fantastic resort - located just on the CA side of South Lake Tahoe with easy walking distance to casinos, restaurants, shopping, etc. Gondola for Heavenly is right outside the resort door. Perfect for easy skiing. Bus services to other mountains.

MARRIOTT TIMBER LODGE is a very popular vacation resort offering activities for all ages and every family member. The resort pool and many hot tub spas are great for relaxing. Many shops and restaurants are located around the resort. The Heavenly Valley Gondola offers an opportunity to view the local area from a high mountain side elevation. The resort is located a short walk from the California Nevada state-line which enables convenient access to many restaurants and casinos. A golf course and Nevada Beach can be found on the Nevada side of the state line. There are many activities, including boating and parasailing available on the Lake. The Virginia and Truckee Railroad which offers train rides to Virginia City, is a short drive down the east side of the mountain on Highway 50. When winter and snow arrive, the whole area is transformed into a winter wonderland. There is something for everyone at the Marriott Timber Lodge Resort.
