Resort is great, only wish there were a few more food options, but its ok because we like to go into town to experience the local food scene also.

Long time owners and we LOVE this resort. Great food and accommodations. Resort cares about the guests and takes great care of everyone. Kids are welcomed and they have programs for them doing all kinds of activities.

Love the resort and location! We look forward to our visit "home" every year. There's something for everyone. The villas are very spacious and have everything you need for your stay. The staff and amenities are great.

This is a ground floor unit that has easy and close access to grocery, restaurants and Rotunda bar area. Beautiful and serene view of the courtyard with quick access to either phase of the Hacienda complex.

Great family Resort with plenty of activities to enjoy. safe and self contained. 2 large pools with a pool bar, 2 lap pools, one toddler pool and a junior kids water park. 4 large jacuzzi near pools. Store , full Spa on site tour company. 5 Star restaurant’s and Japanese grill. Three bars. Children’s club with plenty of activities all week long. Workout gym. Adult activities all week long. Playa del Carmen right out back gate with plenty of restaurants and shops. Enjoy Cozumel just a Ferry ride away. So much more not enough space!!!

We love Royal Haciendas. Have been going since it was first opened. The units are so spacious and comfortable- just great for our family. The staff are incredible. And it's close to Playa del Carmen for some shopping and meals in town.

Just spent 10 days at The Royal Haciendas and loved it. We've been owners since pre-constrution and it still is a fabulous trip evey time (even with the ownership change).

We bought our unit pre-construction and have had it for almost 17 years now. We have loved every minute we have stayed there. In the early days we went to Playa Del Carmen to buy our food and make our own meals but eventually tried the all-inclusive food and drink plan and never went back. If we were really frugal about our food choices and didn't drink we could just barely beat the all-inclusive plan price but we would have to be REALLY frugal. On the plan we can eat and drink to our hearts content and the food is far beyond anything we could ever make ourselves in terms of taste and fine dining experience. Way beyond the cheap garbage you usually get at typical all-inclusive resorts too. Not to mention the rooms are huge by comparison to a typical resort. You have your own personal hot tub on the balcony and in the room and you can bring 5 people along with you for the one price. It can't be beat. You will not regret it.

Always impressed with level of maintenance and replacement of facility equipment and furnishings. Very good dive shop and restaurants. Staff is always friendly and efficient.

Royal Haciendas is the perfect family resort. There are tons of activities all day every day to keep both adults and kids engaged. There is a shuttle service to take you into the downtown area for dinner. The food and staff or top notch at the resort.

Beautiful resort, immaculate, very friendly staff and personnel. Weather in March and April is always dependable in terms of sunny days. Surf is much more gentle here than in Cancun and far better for families with kids. Location just outside of Playa is great. Everyday has activities for adults and kids from kayaking, tennis, spa, fitness, beach volleyball, crafts, Spanish lessons, yoga, Mexican bingo and more. Had a live band in the bar last year and karaoke. 5 restaurants and grocery store on site to choose from. Travel agent on site to help plan trips to eco-parks, Mayan ruins, trips to see flamingos, etc. You get your own personal concierge to assist in planning the week also. Love this place.

Beautiful resort on the beach a few miles north of Playa del Carmen. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of activities available for children and adults.

My family has had a timeshare here since 2012. This is a clean and family friendly resort with all the amenities and is of close proximity to the town of Playa del Carmen. Our timeshare is a villa with two units (A and B) that can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. There is a lovely and spacious shared living room/dining area and kitchen. The villa faces the main resort pool and has a view of the beach/ocean. The back porch has a jacuzzi/hot tub. It is a short walking distance from the main dining/restaurant area , beach, gym and market. It is one of the premier villa units of the entire resort property.

This unit is a Deluxe Villa Floorplan with a full kitchen and full patio with Jacuzzi. Centrally located to ocean, pool, lobby and resort store.

Resort has lots of beautiful landscaping - plenty of room to walk, activities for all ages - all while spacious enough so you to feel that it's too crowded .
