Winters in Breckenridge are so beautiful! We love viewing the snow sculptures, skiing at the world-class Breckenridge Ski Area, cross-country skiing the nearby forest trails and having delicious meals in town. A wonderful soak in the hot tubs with the snowflakes gently falling down is the best way to end the day before retiring to our spacious unit for a much-needed rest.

The staff has always been extremely helpful for any of our needs. We highly recommend Grand Timber Lodge.

This resort is in an excellent location - not too far from town, yet in a quiet area. The rooms are well-appointed and well-stocked. The grounds are beautiful and full. Wildlife can be seen frequenting the grounds. The spa is wonderful and having food on site makes it really nice. There is a great selection of pools, gyms, playgrounds to make everyone in the family happy. The Breckenridge area has added many knew activities in the last few years and the resort, itself, has a list of weekly activities as well as an excellent list of restaurants.

I come to this property every year it’s very convenient. Ski in ski out. Love the shuttle service which takes us into town. Just call them up and they come right over and pick you back up. On premise restaurant is also a perk. The outdoor pool and hot tub‘s are so enjoyable. Accommodations are very cozy.

We have been owners at Grand Timber for 20 years now. We have a Summer week and have gone there every year, except one. We have a 3 BR unit and spend the week with our kids and grandkids; everyone looks forward to the week there. Even our daughter and her family drive up from San Antonio to be there. Everything about GTL is great; the units are very well kept up, the staff are really good to work with, the pools and hot tubs are really nice, even the amenities are top notch like the pool side outdoor games. There also many options for day trips away from the resort. We decided to rent out this year's week kind of late because too many of the kids and grandkids (who are mostly older now) have conflicts with work and can't make it this year. Otherwise, we'd be back up there for another 4th of July celebration.

Took the family up in April. Unfortunately, the weather was cold/windy so unable to use the pool-side games outside. This is a great outdoor past-time. Wish there was a small gym for the kids to get out the energy or they could bring INSIDE the chess, etc. Pool was warm enough for everyone!

Insulation is walls was sketchy--felt cool air coming through--strange. Furniture in 1 bedroom-fun, cabin-like, great art!

Kids enjoyed indoor activity room. Wish I had asked front desk to better explain all the possible use of amenities.

Staff friendly everywhere. More cookies please! Beautiful mountains!!!!

I have been staying here every winter for the past 6 so I decided to buy a timeshare at Grand Timber Lodge from one of the sellers on here. This is one of my favorite resorts, staff is friendly, rooms are clean and well maintained, shuttle bus to town or lift, ski in ski out (snowflake lift or off the back and short walk to Beaver Run-we just get on the bus easier as a snowboarder) warm cookies in the afternoon, pools are well maintained. Don't know what else to say but I finally bought my own.

I just returned from a week at GTL 3/3/2018 to 3/10/2018 and everything was great like usual. I have been staying at this resort for the past 5 years or so and is one of the better time share resorts I have stayed at over the years. TIP if you are thinking of coming to GTL and ski/snowboard Breckenridge make sure you buy the EPIC or EPIC Local pass from the ski resort before coming up. That way you save some money on the lifts. I have had some undecideds come and they usually ride on my "buddy tickets" or "ski with a friend" tickets that come with the EPIC passes if you buy them early enough in the season. Another good thing unless you don't really need to rent a vehicle since GTL has excellent shuttle service around town. You can fly into Denver or Vail/Eagle and take one of the private shuttles to the resort, then once at GTL you can use the shuttle for transportation around town. I usually rent a vehicle and travel to the other resorts on the EPIC pass besides Breckenridge such as Beaver Creek, Vail, Keystone and Arapaho Basin. I also visited the spa this year at GTL for a massage after having a snowboard accident and it was excellent. It is a great place to stay and I will return here in the future.

We have stayed for a ski week and for August weeks. This 5Star resort is great. Ski in/out a real plus.

Be careful in the summer - the condos have no A/C; however, given use of fans, open windows, and nasal strips, life is fine at 10,000 feet.

Great restaurant selections and City Market is close. Numerous winter/summer activities.

Dillon, Frisco, Vail, Avon, and Beaver Creek are nice day trips.

Summer living at its best. Well equipped and maintained. One of our favorite Colorado resorts.

We are owners of multiple units at this resort for a reason. It is a fantastic property with a great location near Beaver Run and has wonderful amenities including a full service spa, multiple indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs a game room and restaurant. There is a full service rental company on premises with ski lockers for visitors. There is a movie rental kiosk on premises and wifi is available for use by visitors. There is a free shuttle bus and indoor heated parking for guests. Overall, this is a first class resort. We have never had a bad stay! We are a family of five with 3 small kids. A great family vacation awaits.

We rented a 2/2 over Christmas week and could not have been more pleased. The owner we rented from was great. The resort is much nicer than you may think based on their website photos. It is comprable to a Hyatt Timeshare Resort. The kids had plenty to do with the arcade, pool, playscape and small sledding hill. Loved the heated garage! I would definitely go back.

We stayed for a week in late August. We had a 2 bedroom unit, which allowed friends from Denver to come up and spend a few days with you. The unit was well decorated, but a bit dark (brown furniture, brown carpeting, and brown walls). We had a nice view of the mountains from our balcony. The kitchen in our unit was well equipped. Everything worked well. The beds were excellent but the pillows were foam rubber and I prefer feather pillows. The gym is small but it is well equipped and not too crowded. The pools looked nice but we did not use them. Nor did we use the on-site restaurant. All in all this is a fine resort. My only criticism is that it is a bit far from town (not really walking distance unless you are in terrific shape). Otherwise it was great. We plan to return next year.
